Biography

As of 1971, Hirschl & Adler Galleries was directed by A.M. Adler and Norman Hirschl, and was located at 21 East 67th Street, NYC; it later moved to 21 East 70th Street. The gallery specializes in 18th, 19th, and 20th century American and European art. By September, 1982, the directors of the firm were Norman Hirschl and Stuart P. Feld. The directors of the various departments within the firm were: Mrs M.P. Naud--American art; Martha Parrish--European art; Prescott Schutz--Exhibitions, Sales, & Customer Services; Donald McKinney--Modern art; Glenn Peck--American prints; Susan Menconi--Sculpture.
