Lawrence Flynn Born Sept. 20, 1900 in New Haven, CT.
Married Frances Kolodzinski in 1918.
In the early 1920's he attended Art Students' League in New York. After art school, he worked as a commercial artist for different companies in New York.
He returned to New Haven and was Vice President of Stediford Pitt Co. until the stock market crash in 1929.
During World War II he changed careers and worked for High Standards Mfg., makers of air cooled machine guns for planes.
After the war he worked for Marlin Firearms Co. until he retired in 1968.
In 1968 he married Marie Craig.
He died Nov.4, 1973 in Cheshire CT.
My grandfather had one child with his first wife- my mother, Jean F. Halpin who resides in West Haven, CT. He had 2 grandchildren- my brother, Howard Halpin, who resides in South Windsor, CT and Donna Halpin Daly. I reside in Farmington, CT.
