Biography
Hague came to the United States from Turkey in 1921 to study at the University of Iowa but soon moved to Chicago and began taking classes at the School of the Art Institute. In 1925 he moved to New York and monitored William Zorach's course in sculpture at the Art Students League. His circle of friends included John Flanagan, Arshile Gorky, Bradley Walker Tomlin and Philip Guston. Although Hague began his career carving in stone, by the late 1940s he worked exclusively in wood.

Formed in 2009, the Archive Team (not to be confused with the archive.org Archive-It Team) is a rogue archivist collective dedicated to saving copies of rapidly dying or deleted websites for the sake of history and digital heritage. The group is 100% composed of volunteers and interested parties, and has expanded into a large amount of related projects for saving online and digital history.
