Biography
Robert Henry Benson [1850-1929] was a British banker and collector. In 1887 he married Eveyln Holford [1856-1943], daughter of collector Robert Staynor Holdford. His collection was focused on early Italian Renaissance paintings, which he sold to Duveen in 1927.Bibliography
