Biography
Son of William Cook, Francis Cook married Emily Lucas and had two sons, Frederick Lucas Cook (d. 1920) and Wyndham Cook (d. 1905). In 1849 he rented Doughty House in Richmond, Surrey, to which he added a large number of galleries to house his growing art collection.Bibliography
